What regular cleaning covers

Regular cleaning is a repeating visit that keeps a house on top of itself, rather than letting things quietly build up until a whole weekend disappears. We run weekly, fortnightly and monthly visits across Eastbourne and East Sussex. A standard visit takes in kitchens, bathrooms, floors throughout, dusting and surfaces, mirrors and glass, bins, and beds made or changed if you leave the linen out for us.

You agree the list with us at the start and we work to it every single time, so nothing quietly slips off. Most households settle on two hours a week or three hours a fortnight, and if we think the time you have asked for will not comfortably cover the house, we will say so kindly rather than take the booking and rush it.

How often to book us

Weekly tends to suit families, houses with pets, and anyone working full time who would rather the house stayed level than swung between spotless and overwhelming. Fortnightly is the most popular booking we take and works beautifully for couples and smaller households. Monthly is a lovely top up if you handle the day to day yourself and would just like the heavier jobs taken off your hands.

If the house has been left a while, we will usually suggest a deep clean first and then regular visits to hold it there. It works out kinder on your budget than paying for extra hours on every visit for a year.

The same cleaner wherever we can

We keep the same cleaner on the same house whenever the round allows it, and it matters more than people expect. Someone who knows your home knows which tap marks, which floor cannot take water, where the spare hoover bags live and which door sticks in the damp.

When someone is on holiday or off poorly we will send cover rather than cancel on you, and we will always let you know in advance that it is happening. You do not need to be in either. Most of our customers give us a key or a door code and we work around an empty house very happily.

Your first visit

The first visit usually takes longer than the ones that follow, and we price it that way rather than pretending a house nobody has touched for a month will fit neatly into a standard slot. We walk round with you first, agree the list room by room, and make a note of anything that needs a gentle hand, whether that is a worktop that marks, a floor that cannot take water, or a room you would rather we left alone.

After that we work to the agreed list every time. If anything changes, a new pet, a new baby, a room converted, just tell us and we will adjust the time and the price together rather than quietly hurrying through it.

Keys, access and pets

You are very welcome to be at home, but you certainly do not need to be. Most people give us a key or a door code and we let ourselves in, which is rather the point of booking a cleaner in the first place. Keys are held securely and labelled by reference rather than by address.

Pets are never a problem, and we would love to know about them in advance so we can plan around a dog who needs a door kept closed or a cat who bolts for the garden. Mention them on the quote call and we will build the extra hair and the extra care into the time.

What a repeating clean costs

Visits are priced individually and agreed before we start, so there are never any surprises. The price depends on the size of the property, the number of bathrooms, whether there are pets, and how often you would like us. More frequent visits cost less each time, simply because there is less to catch up on.

There is no minimum term, no joining fee and no notice period dressed up as a contract. If you would like to pause for a month over the summer, just tell us and we will pause it. We bring our own materials and equipment as standard, handled in line with COSHH guidance, though we are very happy to use yours instead, and if you have a machine you prefer for your floors we will gladly use that.

What is not included as standard

Being open about this saves everyone a slightly awkward conversation later. A repeating visit does not take in the inside of the oven, carpets that need extraction, windows on the outside, or clearing out a room. Those need their own equipment and their own time, and we would rather quote them fairly than squeeze them into a two hour slot and disappoint you.

Happily, all four are things we do. You can add Oven Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Window Cleaning or House Clearance onto an existing booking and we will fit them around your usual slot.

Where we cover

Our rounds run through Eastbourne, Hailsham, Polegate, Bexhill on Sea, Hastings, St Leonards on Sea, Lewes, Seaford and Brighton and Hove. Because we work set rounds by area, we will sometimes have a particular day free in your street and a short wait on another, so it is always worth asking what we have rather than assuming.

Everyone who comes to your door works for the business, wears our uniform and is known to the office, which tends to be the part households care about most when they are handing over a key.
